Being open-minded means being willing to consider new ideas or information, even if they challenge our existing beliefs. However, this doesn’t mean blindly accepting everything we hear or read without question. Skepticism is also important in evaluating truth, as it helps us avoid falling for misinformation or propaganda.
It is possible to strike a balance between being open-minded and skeptical by approaching new information with curiosity and a willingness to learn, while also critically analyzing it for accuracy and credibility. Evaluating truth is not always easy but it’s an essential part of living in the modern world.
By using reliable sources, honing critical thinking skills, fact-checking techniques, identifying biases and assumptions, and avoiding logical fallacies we can be confident in the accuracy of what we believe. Ultimately, though, questioning everything with a curious but skeptical mindset is key to finding truth in today’s world where lies are so prevalent that discovering the truth requires equal parts analysis and intuition.

Truth is always truth and everyone can see it by looking at the data and evidence. Each of us has different tools to find the truth but when all the data and evidence are seen, the truth will be seen by all. We cannot know the motivation in someone’s mind but we can see the actual evidence in the results. Words are tools many use to distract us only if we allow them to say things that cannot be proven with date.
